Festival of Hope – Ruse 2020

Year of faith, victories, and expansion of the Kingdom of God

We pray that God will protect you, strengthen you, and help you prosper in everything – especially in these dynamic and challenging times we live in.

With joy and gratitude, we would like to share with you the testimony of an extraordinary year – 2020. A year that for many was marked by uncertainty, but for us became a time of faith, growth, and spiritual victories.

It was a season in which circumstances tested the foundations. The „storm“ revealed what was built on the rock and what – on the sand. And all of us realized even more deeply that our true security is found only in the Lord.

The Gospel reaches thousands

Despite the restrictions and changes, the Good News continued to spread with power. We had the privilege to reach thousands of people in dozens of towns and villages across Bulgaria.

We had to rethink and adapt some of our larger-scale projects, but this opened new doors. Through numerous trips, we managed to bring the hope of the Gospel to the Rhodope Mountains, Northeastern Bulgaria, a wide area around the capital Sofia, as well as the region of Ruse.

We witnessed hundreds of lives saved – people who found meaning, hope, and a new beginning. Every day we met people longing for God’s love – and this continues to inspire us.

The need is great

For months, we ministered in the villages around Sofia and encountered a deep reality – many people live without a clear knowledge of their Savior – Jesus Christ.

This only confirms how great the need for spreading the Gospel still is.

Tent festival in Ruse

One of the highlights of the year was the nine-day tent festival in Ruse. In the heart of the city, a tent was set up where daily programs for children, youth, and adults were held.

The Gospel was proclaimed not only in the tent, but also in the streets, neighborhoods, and throughout the entire city.

At the same time, every day teams of 10–15 people traveled to eight settlements in the region to reach people with the message of the cross – through the Word, music, and living faith.

The power of partnership

Partnership is a Godly principle. It unites people, gifts, and resources in one common mission.

We see this model throughout Scripture – around Moses, Joshua, and David there were people who stood with them. Jesus Christ Himself was supported in His ministry. And the Apostle Paul reached nations thanks to partnership with churches and believers.

When you are our partners, you go beyond your own limitations and become part of everything God is doing through this ministry.
