Mission in Indonesia – testimonies of God’s work in Asia

We returned from a mission in Indonesia – testimonies of God’s work in Asia

We safely returned from our latest mission, which this time took us to distant Indonesia. Our hearts are filled with deep gratitude to everyone who supported us with their prayers. Throughout the entire time, we clearly felt God’s protection, covering, and blessing in every situation.

We were deeply impressed by the way God is working in Asia. Indonesia – the largest Muslim country in the world – is characterized by religious tolerance and freedom. Islam reached the region peacefully through trade, creating an environment in which Christianity also develops. Today, about 30 million people, or approximately 12% of the population, profess faith in Jesus Christ.

During the event we held together with ministers from various countries, we had the privilege of meeting people from Afghanistan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and others. The testimonies we heard were incredibly inspiring – people coming out of shamanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam are finding true life, forgiveness, joy, and hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We were especially touched by the story of Pastor Gideon from Singapore. As a child, growing up in a Hindu family, he had an encounter with Jesus that changed his entire life. Despite pressure from his family, his faith remained unshaken. Today, decades later, he has founded hundreds of churches, and his entire family has been reached by God’s love. This testimony further ignited in us a desire to preach the Gospel, which has the power to save.

Our ministry on Batam Island in Indonesia was filled with joy. We met people – both adults and children – who were hungry for God. We ministered in churches, worked with children, and had the privilege of bringing the good news to people who received it with open hearts. Despite the long journey and fatigue, we returned fulfilled, inspired, and grateful.

Keep the fire in your heart

We want to encourage everyone: keep the fire in your heart. Fire has the ability to go out if it is not maintained. This is a personal responsibility – not of the church, not of someone else, but of each one of us.

If you have fire, you will spread it everywhere around you. The fire of the Holy Spirit brings change – it transforms lives. Even when cold winds blow, if you remain in the fire, it will burn even stronger.

Do not look back – look forward. God has invested in your life, prepared you, and continues to lead you toward something greater. Do not stop dreaming. Guard what God has placed in your heart and walk boldly toward its fulfillment.

Fight for the fire of the Holy Spirit within you. Let it burn strongly and illuminate your path and the lives of those around you.

Be blessed!
