Festival of Hope in Pernik — When Heaven Touched the Earth

There were moments when heaven seemed to open over Pernik…
Moments when the streets were no longer just streets, but pathways to hope.
Moments when tears turned into joy, and emptiness into life.

In September 2023, in the heart of the city, a tent was raised — not merely as a structure, but as a place of encounter with the living God. From it began to flow something that could not be stopped — a love that reaches, heals, and restores.

The name of Jesus Christ was proclaimed with power — not only in the tent, but throughout the streets, neighborhoods, homes, and hearts of the people. And when that name was spoken in faith — something happened.

Thousands of people — children, youth, families, and the elderly — were reached throughout the city and the entire region. Joy filled the air. Hope was born where it had long been absent.

People were healed. Broken hearts found peace.
Many took the most important step in their lives — they received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior after hearing the Good News.

Tens of thousands of brochures, books, and New Testaments entered people’s hands and homes — as seeds of truth that will continue to bear fruit.

Teams from different nations came together with one heart and one mission — to serve, to love, and to carry the light of the Gospel. Different languages, but one power. Different cultures, but one message.

This was not just an event.
This was a movement of God’s love.

And today, even after the festival has ended, the results remain.
Lives have been transformed. Homes have been touched. Faith has been ignited.

Because when heaven touches the earth —
nothing remains the same.

And Pernik carries that mark.
