India – An Encounter with a World That Changes the Heart, 2023

India – a vast, vibrant, and deeply spiritual country. A land of contrasts, where life pulses with an unexplainable intensity, and human souls seek, believe, and worship.

We returned from a distant and unpredictable journey – a journey that left a lasting mark forever. We set out without clear expectations… and came back completely transformed.

India is an experience that cannot be described – it must be lived.
Saris, motorcycles, gold, and dust. Poverty and wealth side by side. Beggars on the streets, endless honking, cows calmly crossing the traffic. Spicy – very spicy. Rice every day. Men, women, children… an endless multitude.

And everywhere – deities.
On every corner. In every home. In every heart.

The people are humble, responsive, and hospitable. Ready to help, to give, to share.
What struck us most deeply was not the poverty – but the spirituality.

In India, there is almost no one who does not believe. There are over 300 million deities. But the real need is not to say that there is a god – but to testify that there is only one Way to Him:
The Lord Jesus Christ.

An encounter that reveals the truth

On the way back, on the plane, one of our missionaries spoke with an Indian woman living in America.
When asked if she believed in God, she confidently replied:

„Of course! We have a small god Krishna. Every day we feed him, give him milk, bathe him, dress him… and we pray to him.“

Krishna

These words revealed the deep devotion of millions of people to something that cannot respond, save, or transform.

And then we realized even more strongly – how necessary it is to speak about the Living God.
About Jesus Christ – real, alive, and almighty. The One who became man to reveal God’s love. Who died on the cross and rose again to give life.

Christianity in India – a legacy from the apostles

As early as the first century after Christ, the Gospel reached this distant land.

Apostle Thomas

It is believed that around 51–52 AD he arrived in the region of Kerala and laid the foundations of Christianity there. He established churches, preached the Gospel, and led people to faith.

But his ministry met resistance.
Because of the message that challenged the caste system and proclaimed equality before God, he was killed – pierced with a spear while praying.

He was buried in Chennai, and his legacy lives on to this day.

The lessons India taught us

We cannot describe everything we experienced – it is a story for a book.
But we can share what matters most:

India taught us humility.

There we saw people who have little, yet live with respect for family, honor for marriage, and a deep sense of spirituality.
At the same time, we realized something painful – that material abundance and a „developed society“ do not guarantee the preservation of Christian values.

Living in Europe does not mean knowing Christ.
True faith is a daily choice.

Our ministry

During these three weeks, we had the honor of ministering to women, men, and children in different cities. We held seminars and conferences, encouraged local leaders, and built new partnerships.

With the help of many generous hearts, we were able to feed thousands of people.

We connected with people who are ready to continue the work – to reach more and more souls who will turn from idols to the Living God.

Gratitude and realization

When we returned home, we realized something simple yet profound:

We live in blessing.

We have clean air, clean water, four seasons.
We do not live in 40–50 degree heat.
We do not struggle daily for basic conditions.

And instead of complaining – we can give thanks.

Together we are strength

We want to thank everyone who prayed for us and supported us.
You were part of this mission.

Your love reached India.
Your faith bore fruit.

We believe this is only the beginning.
We pray that God will expand and strengthen us to continue His work in this part of the world.

„Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul… and with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.“
— Acts 4:32–33

Grateful. Humble. And filled with faith for more.
